The Black Sex Worker Collective Branches
In our commitment to doing no harm and supporting each chapter, we are currently only accepting applications for programs that will be officially onboarded in the fall/winter of 2021. In the meantime you are able to join other chapters and offer remote support.
Starting a Branch
Leadership must be from a current or former Black Sex Worker* (or heavy focus on sex work and uplifiting the voices of sex workers).
Have an understanding of The BSWC’s mission and principles.
Have a general idea on the kind of focus your chapter will have if one (i.e. Trans issues, restorative justice, art initiatives etc) This can be any of the many intersecting issues within sex work and the human rights framework.
Having a Team
Have at least three people to start building of the chapter.
