Context: Marcia Fay Chapman was a mother of three and a Black street-based sex worker in Seattle. She was murdered by the Green River Killer--who specifically targeted street-based sex workers along Seattle's Pacific Highway--in 1982. Her life and death is mentioned by Cassandra Troyan on page fifty-three of Troyan's book of lyrical poetry about sex and abolition, entitled Freedom & Prostitution.
