Context: The 'Zola Story' was the Twitter thread which lives on as legend in Black Twitter. Black stripper Zola released a Twitter thread of more than one hundred tweets in 2015 detailing her harrowing adventure following a white stripper named Jess from Michigan to Florida to dance. The Twitter thread was adopted into a movie by Janicza Bravo in 2021, but the original thread still hits better than any movie imo.
